1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ThreeGreenEvents.com website, its content, and its services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is owned and operated by ThreeGreenEvents.com.

2. Description of Service

ThreeGreenEvents.com provides an online platform that allows organizers ("Event Hosts") to list, promote, and manage events focused on sustainability, eco-friendliness, and community engagement, and allows users ("Attendees") to discover and register for these events. We are solely a venue for Event Hosts and Attendees to interact.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation: To use certain features of the Service (like listing an event or managing registrations), you must register for an account and provide accurate and complete information.

Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account.

4. Event Host Responsibilities

By posting an event on the Service, the Event Host agrees and acknowledges the following:

  • A. Event Liability and Conduct
    • The Event Host is solely and fully responsible for all aspects of the event they are throwing or promoting. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
    • The content of the event listing (accuracy of dates, times, locations, and pricing).
    • Obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance for the event.
    • Ensuring the safety, legality, and appropriateness of the event for all Attendees.
    • The collection and handling of any payments, fees, or personal data related to the event.
  • B. Cancellations and Refunds
    • The Event Host is responsible for communicating any event changes or cancellations directly to registered Attendees in a timely manner.
    • The Event Host is solely responsible for processing and issuing all refunds if an event is canceled or significantly altered. ThreeGreenEvents.com acts only as a listing platform and is not responsible for handling, guaranteeing, or issuing refunds to Attendees on behalf of the Event Host.
  • C. Revenue Share
    • Three Green, LLC recieves a $1 per ticket. After this amount, all remaining funds minus any trasaction costs as set by our payment processor, Stripe™, are given to Event Hosts.

5. Attendee Responsibilities

Registration: By registering for an event, you agree to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the specific Event Host.

Disputes: Any disputes regarding event quality, cancellations, or refunds must be resolved directly between the Attendee and the Event Host.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content: All content on the Service (excluding User Content) is the property of ThreeGreenEvents.com and is protected by intellectual property laws.

User Content: You grant ThreeGreenEvents.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute any content (text, images, links) you submit to the Service. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit this content.

Prohibited Content: You agree not to post any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes upon any third party's rights.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. THREEGREENEVENTS.COM MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SERVICE OR THE EVENTS LISTED THEREON.

THREEGREENEVENTS.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR DATA, RESULTING FROM (I) THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (II) THE ACTIONS, ERRORS, OR OMISSIONS OF ANY EVENT HOST OR ATTENDEE; (III) ANY CANCELED OR UNFULFILLED EVENT.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ThreeGreenEvents.com, its affiliates, and its officers from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party (including, specifically, any claim related to an event you host).

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
